Thanks Corsair - but this campaign is aimed at the UK and EIRE, and those dogs are in NZ. Don't worry, we have a long, long list of contacts and supporters to network with.

its a great idea. Just interested - campaigns to get it on the radio? How do you go about that, the standard mail it everywhere or you have a few tips?

We're going to get it in the press first as a precursor to approaching radio. That way we should get more support. I think it's going to be a phone/ email campaign targetted at the most likely suspects, probably no more than 6 DJs.

If it works, I'll gladly go into more detail re: strategy.

But, a friend of mine just got on the train, sat outside radio 1 & 2 buildings, waited for the DJs, then gave them a CD and asked them to play his songs. 3 of them did! You could always try that?

congratulations to you and your partner.  This is such a lovely, emotional song.  The main melody is lovely as are the backng vocals.  Both compliment each other so well.  I thought that you might have posted this in the reviews section to gain maximum exposure.  It wouldn't hurt to do that, though I would understand that you might not want a song of this nature to be the subject of a review.

Yes, I deliberately posted here as I'm not looking for a song review. Just to share the project and the cause with members.

I'm glad you've all found it though

It's doing really well - we've already raised over £1,000 for our beneficiaries, and it's only getting better. A production company is working on a video, and a press release is being prepared for the regional and national press.

I'm also registering the project with the charity commission, (so I don't have to pay tax on donations!) so as you can see, I'm pretty busy right now!
