Morning to all. The judges have verified the votes received (a very good turn out!) and the results are in...

Votes were given to all entries - what a high quality competition this was. It was hard to separate many of the songs with leval scores all over the place and so many potential winners. However, we ended up with a clear winner and top 6 as follows.....

Congrats and kudos to them, hats off to all who participated and voted and I think anyone anywhere would be impressed with what came out of this competition. Another proud moment for the forum. Don't stop now!

Yeah!, my two top picks ended up top 2 (albeit in reverse order)!!! Third one did not make it top 5 but not a half bad guess from my my side if I may say so myself.

Congratiulations to the winners and the rest of the top 5 (and everyone else, many, many strong entries!).

A bit disappointed that my own entry did not make it into top 5 but on the other hand it has turned out to be my most popular song on SC by a wide margin which feels a bit strange given it is not exactly the kind of stuff I usual do. Time to reconsider my career path perhaps?

two medals paul! You are the michael phelps of songwriting tho I dont think even hes won gold & siver in the same race!
I think it was a very difficult competition to win as everyone had their own idea what bare bones meant
