I wrote this song about a year ago where I drew from experiences from when I was struggling to come to terms with the fact that I was "giving in" to my dark side. I'm taking the audience through my mindset when I was 15-years-old and how I started to become a darker person. Still not finished yet as I haven't been happy with what I've been putting in the second hook. I thought I'd just post what I've written so far for critique purposes. The person I'm referring to, which is "You" in this case is the, let's say, evil side of my conscience. The devil in the song represents the dark side and how it was able to lure the evil side of my conscience into doing morally evil things (which I probably won't go into detail here. Although let's be clear, I've never killed or raped a person just in case anyone's thinking that lol).
