It would be cool to bounce ideas and lines back and forth to get creative juices flowing.

I write acoustic songs mainly right now but I'm open to writing about anything that feels right.

Hello.

I wonder if you would mind telling me what area you are in?

I write music.  I write a lot of music.  My wife keeps telling me to do something with it.

My music is good.  I think it's good.   Some of it is very good.

Lyrics....no.   I can't finish my songs.   I want to work with someone who can put good lyrics to good music.

I'm willing to put in a lot of effort .   I will also need help with the arrangements and demos.

I need someone who is close enough to meet up with.  A lot can be done on the internet but I want to sit and create songs in person.

I've gone on a bit.

I suppose that I'm after a lot.   I want to write proper songs with proper tunes.   I think that some of my songs would do very well.   I just can't do lyrics.

If you are not too far from Nottingham, maybe we could see what happens

I don't know if my music will be your cup of tea.  I only know that I need a good lyricist to help me.

Damn yeah those lyrics could make something if you could play guitar instead of stabbing at it with a pick, and you weren't tone deaf and dronier than a senile History teacher. I guess that's why you came to the collabs area...

Basically, I was interested in this thread till I remembered you were the insulting low life off my thread in the lyrics section.

Maybe if you'd been less of an ass I would have laid a riff down for you. Or at least some actual chords. Or tbh I would gladly sing - your videos make me feel like Mariah Carey.

The sad thing is Everything is a Blur was my first ever original song and is still light years ahead of anything you'll ever do. Stay mad though.

This approach is hardly predisposed to getting anyone to agree to collab with you while your complete lack of humility is not only nauseating but also giving out the vibe that you're some king of deluded egoist who is just too much hard work to even begin thinking about working with. I am going to lock this one now as I think the point has been proven about being civilised to each other, especially if you then want to later ask for collaborators

Telling people "they suck" is neither nice nor constructive so has no place on this forum
