I was sitting in the garden late last night when some lines popped into my head, and they kept on coming. So i typed them down onto my Iphone so i could upload them today.
I honestly don't know if they even go together all that well, but anyway, here goes:
Grinding on through life
One Shitty Day to the next
In this endless fight
To see who's the best
However hard i try
I cannot be what you need
Accept me for who i am
And not who i want to be
As i struggle on
The world becomes misshapen
Seemingly no control
Over what's about to happen

Maybe it's just not good enough
A short time of pain
Turned long time in the rough
As i wake up each day
Suppressing all the pain
That no one ever sees
I appear as right as rain
Steaming into the future
It looks as bleak as the past
Something shit is going to happen
If things don't change. Fast.
Will anything be the same
Will it ever be right again
Does anything ever go
According to my plans
I feel like i'm running against the current
Everything against me but myself
Mere moments of happiness
Drowned in the sorrow of all else
I don't know what i need to do
But i need to do it fast
To save myself from life
Before it bites me in the Ass
I only have one way to express myself
But no one knows my name
I can't let anyone down
They can't know this pain
Through this cloak of mystery i write
Hiding my secret from the world
