hey Paul

i listened to several of your songs...you've a real talent for lyrics...and you've shown with at least one of your songs that you can do a really good vocal too...i'd get stuck in and sing more of them if i were you

despite their great lyrics...my attention slightly wandered in places and i'm sure it was to do with the delivery and listening to four or so in one go...there are great tunes in you too, i reckon

I think the song is generally excellent for the genre and you've got a great vocal delivery, so I wouldn't be concerned there. The lyrics are absolutely superb as well and you have a real talent for storytelling.

My one piece of constructive criticism is that the song sounds better with you singing than when you move to a more spoken vocal, which you do in the chorus. For that reason, I think the chorus falls a little after the line about how many fools there are in the world. I would come up with a stronger vocal melody and carry on singing it - it sounds great in the other areas of the song.
