I don't know what this is about so I didn't really know if it was finished !

Bell, Book and Candle

VERSE 1

Got my bell, book and candle
And I'm never gonna stop
I got more than I can handle
Gonna burn til I drop

Light the candle, ring the bell
Grab a handful, run like hell
Love triangles, never kiss and tell
Live the scandal for a tale to tell

CHORUS

Banging your head against my brick wall
Doesn't to turn it into a door
Got my bell, book and candle
If you can take it,  take it all

VERSE 2

Got my bell, book and candle
At the end of every day
Every sinner can be saved
But we Gotta a price to pay

Gonna get some silver,  get some gold
And a camera that can lie
Got all the stories what I been told
And all the love that I can buy

CHORUS

Banging your head against my brick wall
Dont turn it into a door
Got my bell, book and candle
If you can take it,  take it all

VERSE 3

Like a shiver looking for a spine
A reason looking for a rhyme
The right place looking for the right time
Spend all night looking for bright sun shine

She still loves mother nature
In spite of what she did to her
Ask a stupid question honey
Make me smile take my money

CHORUS

Banging your head against my brick wall
Dont turn it into a door
Got my bell, book and candle
If you can take it,  take it all

Honestly I somehow like it for what it is, much like you in just a bit confused as to what the story is suppose to be...is it love? Is it heartbreak? Is it death? Is it happy? Is it sad? These are questions you should ask yourself to then figure it the story you're tying to tell through your lyrics! Overall, you seem to have the structure, now just make the lyrics and the story tighter!

I don't know what it's about.  You don't know what it's about.

WHO CARES...   It's a marvelous bit of wordplay that's intriguing, and fun.  And it means SOMETHING, that I'd eventually figure out (or more likely apply my own meaning to) if I listened to it a lot.

One suggestion.  --  In the chorus (I think in the chorus only) follow the "bell book and candle" line with "Unless it's more than you can handle."  It helps the wordplay (to my ears) and creates one more little bit of context around which a listener can build the story in his/her own mind.

Hope that helps.

i like these a lot. cleaver, energy and intrigue, what else do you need in a good lyric?
i'd be included to call it Take it all as thats the last line in the chorus unless you are deliberately referencing the old film with Jimmy Stewart in, before evenly time...
