Anyway, I'm grateful to have been nominated, and flattered to have won against what I consider excellent competition. Thanks to all who voted (for me and/or for others.)

Funny thing that illustrates the value of this forum. When I wrote this, I wasn't at all convinced that it would turn out well. I really never considered the possibility that this could be a very good lyric until I was nominated.
It just goes to show how important other perspectives are to a songwriter. I LOVE this forum, and am grateful to have it for a resource.
