This is just something I had a go at based on some more of Tom Crocus' lyrics which I thought were pretty fab. Again Matt Greco on vocals.

Its a bit messy and all over the place, so not sure how it will sound to the unfamiliar ear  ??? but I had fun doing it and thought I would share it anyway.  ;D

(PS - I've made a couple of posts, but don't have much time to review back right now... should be able to catch up repaying the favour over the weekend)

cheers

Ben

Given the types of music that are in the 'indie' parts of the UK music industry these days, I must say I'm actually quite impressed. If this was something on iTunes, I would easily buy it.

I found myself listening to the whole song and really enjoying it and I thought it was a really nice difference between the soft sound of the voice and then the vocals come in.

Nice job :)

Thanks guys, your feedback is always appreciated  :D, especially when it teaches me something new... so excuse me while I go Google sibilance.

I loved the instrumental in the lead-in.

Continued to love it repeated throughout the song.  The repetition really works.

Two nits.  I'd rather not hear the lyrics at several places that are soft and "low volume" because I couldn't make out what they were saying.

When you include subliminal sounding lyrics like that, you lose us old guys who can't hear well enough to make them out.

The second nit regards the repetition.  Although I love it and think it works well, it would be well to mix in another track to add some variation to it OVER the existing repetitious track.

I really liked the instrumental part of this.

I would echo hardtwist when they say that the instrumental is lovely but would love more volume on vocals at various points throughout.

Overall I enjoyed it though! :)
