A little something i re-wrote today.

                         IF THAT'S YOUR IDEOLOGY

so stick a rocket in your pocket and get out of your bed

buck that trend come in through the outdoor

it makes no sense to sit on the fence
just have yourself a ball and be off the wall
if that's your ideology you'll never fail
and you don't need a hammer to knock in a nail

Great lyrics Tom - and good ideology. Actually just what I needed to hear today.

Only criticism is to do with the best couplet in the song:

it makes no sense to sit on the fence
just have yourself a ball and be off the wall

Superb - but in terms of the rhyming pattern throughout this is the only time it's broken and (to me, at least) it does stand out. I wouldn't want to lose this couplet so it may be worth repeating the pattern elsewhere.

I like all of it!  Well I love all of it,  except (sorry mate)   the title!

I'd have gone for "short time living".

But anyway, great song,  best sentiment, love it.
