I’ve lived on an international humanitary aid vessel from the organisation Mercy Ships and lastly in the Netherlands. I’ve recently moved back to the Philippines. I'm a composer, singer-songwriter. Occupation = Nerd.
Since 2006 I’ve had a pressing passion for the art of creating music. I’m uneducated in formal music theory, play and production, but that hasn't deterred me. I'm currently in the process of returning to Holland for studies
Composition & Music Technology. I’m a multi-instrumentalist with experience in guitar, drums and bass. Strangely I hear music even though there is none. Which is good (and not insanity) .. I hope.
Influences | As a kid I always knew how to sing. You know you're Filipino when your parents tell you to sing for their guests. I started playing Christian (Worship & Contemporary) music in church. I branched out, listening to Ballads, Rock, Punk & Alternative. I’ve always enjoyed Rap, R&B and Hip-Hop. Around that time I started to mess around with Fruityloops software, which was the genesis of my journey making electronic beats. From the Netherlands I’ve developed a liking for Electro, House, Dance & Trance music styles. Recently I've started to listen to more Jazz, Dubstep and Drum&Bass. I am greatly inspired by youtube phenomenons Ronald Jenkees, Andy Mckee, Matthew McGhee & Sungha Jung.
In my spare time when I'm not busy with music, I love to read, watch anime & movies, work out and cook, Philippine cuisine.
One of my goals is to inspire and motivate others to be creatively passionate: not only in music, but in any art-form and aspect of life. In turn I seek to be impressed by others as well. My desire is to become an exceptional musician and sound engineer. My highest goal, is to bring glory to the passionate God, whose epic song is my life.
I'm here just to gain exposure, but mainly to meet other creative people.
