Hi I’m Dr Nick Troop from the University of Hertfordshire. I’m a songwriter and a Health Psychologist and would very much appreciate your help to explore the effects (if any) songwriting may have on various aspects of your well-being.

Previous studies have suggested that music/song-writing can have many benefits, including those associated with wellbeing. Others suggest that songwriting may simply reflect the state of mind the writer is already in.

So if you are a songwriter (novice or experienced) or someone who would like to start songwriting, we’d love to hear from you.
