Hi Kevin - we are putting them in lyrics/WIP/finished songs as usual but you should post a link here as well so we know which one and where to find it. Though if you are in, the rest of us may as well get our coats...

Thanks Adam, although I do have another question, I will post a different song in the competition than the one posted now..can I post this as a competition entry and is that consdered seperate to the current post or do I have to wait untill my next legal post..

You're not the first to ask

What I've been saying is that normal rules apply - in principle the competition songs are no different from other songs so it should be two weeks between. I guess if we get near the deadline and you're not really posting it for feedback then it can just be posted on here and noone will have a problem with that.

Hi Folks 

I'm a bit late to this...but i've had an idea for something...

is it too late to add my name to the list of entries?

i wrote most of the lyric today...after i read the thread (particularly the bit about a love song WITH A TWIST)

i don't really do love songs...but i do like a twist...

i'll doodle about with a tune for a couple of days...and if nothing presents itself can i throw it open for a collaboration?

i can help with recording, playing guitar/bass etc if necessary...

For last Summer's Dreams competition I think there were 8 entrants and we should be well on the way to surpassing that.

Don't let production issues hold you back: a good song recorded on your phone should have just as much chance as any other.

Well that's a good point Adam After all, it's a songwriting comp. and that should have nothing to do with production
