Hey everyone, I'm new on this site and I'd like some advice on a bunch of songs i wrote. All of them have a sort of common storyline using a parallel between cancer and a break up. Here is the first one, tell me if you want to see the others !

Cancer :

I've loved you for so many years
How did we get so far from there ?
We were like innocent angels
Why couldn't we see the danger ?

I've seen you for so many years
How did i forget you were there ?
We were so close to each other
Why did you feel like a bother ?

I've carried you for so many years
How did you still stay there ?
We were both in a terrible pain
Why did we stay under the rain ?

I've begged you for so many years
How didnt you kill me there ?
We couldn't get any answer
Why did you feel like cancer ?

Hi 7nanovirus...

A complicated and emotive word, is "cancer" ...

it'd be difficult to tie more than one song together with that theme, I think...I'm not sure you should constrain yourself with any plan. Maybe just grab your pen and go along with whatever comes to mind...

And keep posting...they'll all get a reading, for sure
