I'd like to move a song from one thread to another..... Do I star a new thread or is there some way to move the contents of the thread... Thanks

just start a new thread in the finished forum..can't see how that would be a problem for anyone..

I didn't say it was a problem......I just wanted to know if there was any special procedure for retaining the original comments from the previous thread.....

Oh..didn't realise you wanted to carry comments to another thread..dunno how you would do that..interesting question though,

you could copy and paste them into a post I s'pose but I'm sure someone knows the proper way..

The only way I know to do that is to ask the Moderators to do it for you.  I doubt you can do it with "administrator" privileges and permission. 

This forum has so few problems that I don't remember who the administrators are here. 

"Nooms" might be an administrator.  If he isn't, he'll know who is.

I always just do it like Kevin suggested, so I don't have any insight into how to move the entire post.

the accepted way is to open a fresh thread as after all its a wip or its a fin.
you could keep the continuity of the development of the song by adding a link to the new thread at the bottom of your orig wip thread..

you maybe have sorted this already in which case..
