... I haven't put the telly on all day. I reviewed a few 'Spooky or What' competition entries this morning and was blown away by the high standard. For a while I just felt like throwing in the towel but then I decided to have another go with my offering. As a result this has been a great day of pure songwriting and I don't think I've ever been so driven to write and revise and re-write ... I've been going from the keyboard and notepad (that's an actual, paper note pad and pencil) to the computer and back again all day. And now I have three and a half minutes worth of something that just might be worth entering.
Hopefully I've left enough energy to make a decent recording tomorrow. It really has been a great day of songwriting and that's thanks to the forum 100%
