I totally respect your views on this Terry and agree to some degree...everybody on this forum has different tastes in music, so it makes this kind of competition difficult personally I think it's too much to ask one person to choose 5 songs and 5 lyrics out of the month, but I think Allan has done a stellar job and it took him hours to do so...this comp is in it's infancy and as Allan has said, 'the rules aren't written in stone'  ...just my humble opinion on the subject...CS

Hi Terry,

i don't understand why you didn't join in the conversation about how we could organize a song of the month competition in the weeks we were talking about it...in the past we always discussed plans for competitions and then reached a sort of conclusion and started the competition

but now you start an alternative one??In my opinion that is not really helpful.

I also want to respond to this because it was me who asked Seriousfun if he could do the work for this one the first time, and he kindly did that work

As Dutchbeat says, you missed your chance to chip in when this one was being organised. How should you proceed? If it means that much to you, make sure you get involved from the start next month.

Threads like this don't do the forum any favours. And since Seriousfun has taken on the task of organising the comp for this month, it does seem a little contra to his efforts, and the spirit of the forum in general.

You guys are too funny as far as the kids...I'm not bringing mine! we're going to have to get bookings for the band and stuff, so maybe we should plan for next summer ...we can start the tour in my home town, cause Lund is the end of highway 101 and it's the hippie mecca of the coast...we'll work our way down to Sanfran...so start growing your hair and writing some psychedelic stuff...what instruments do we still need...what instruments do you guys play?
