Hi there,

https://soundcloud.com/andik-music/disarmed

i finally finished this song last week and would like to share it with you and get some feedback on music/mixing/arrangement. I'm open to any form of critique. Thank you for the help and support in lyrics area! I thought it would be nice to share what came out of it.

I heard your name
through a laughters haze

it hurts my soul
how they speak about you

it changed how I
see eye to eye

and i know
i can do better
Ref:
if they could see you like I do
they would be alarmed
if they could feel you how i do
they would be disarmed

it hit me hard
when they tore you apart
i guess they dont know
who you really are, they could to better

Ref:
if they could see you like I do
they would be alarmed
if they could feel you how i do
they would be disarmed

Listening now.....I really like the atmosphere that you create with your vocals. This is a very good song in how it develops. Love how the electric guitar comes in.

Production sounds good to my ears. Loving the harmonies....they really sound huge.

Good lyrics as well.

I really enjoyed listening to this.

Oooo, I love the harmonies! It's all gorgeous. I'm a little OCD about some things and would recommend singing "about you" distinctly rather than "about chew". But that's just me. The song is very beautiful. Relaxing production and mood, while the lyric itself is a little...not really tense...but expresses some uncomfortable thoughts. Very interesting. Good job, for sure!

Hi, great chord progressions and playing. Love the vocals esp the harmonies. Very nice song, sounds great.Made me think of McCartney around the band on the Ram/Band on the run era.

Cheers

Thank you Jamie and moraamarolaloba. Appreciate it! Yeah, McCartney/Beatles and the 60's/70's in general were definitely a big influence on me! I'm happy that it made you think of him!

This is great. Melancholy and emotional. Beautiful harmonies. I missed the discussion on the lyrics but glad that you got good suggestions and they are definitely original and thought-provoking.
