Title: Just a quick 'Hello'.

I've just joined the forum and I thought I'd just say a quick 'hello' to my fellow tunesmiths.

Don't know what the average age is on here, but I'm 58 and recently retired from live music (solo guitarist/vocalist). Songwriting has always been my first love and now I intend on spending as much time  as I can on it.
I record my demos on Logic Pro X (on an iMac) and once I've got some finished I'll post them up.

Being an 'oldie' I grew up listening to the works of Pomus and Schuman, Goffin and King, and of course The Beatles, but I like to keep an open mind where songs are concerned and I'm pretty much happy to listen to anything.

Looking forward to having some interesting debates in the future.
