Title: "Songexploder" - another interesting podcast
Post by: adamfarr on June 10, 2015, 09:50:41 AM
Hi all - here's an interesting podcast, in case anyone isn't familiar - the writer explains their creative process for a particular song, with quite some emphasis on the production side as well as the actual writing. IMHO generally really interesting if not totally mainstream songs (think RJD2, Blonde Redhead, YACHT, Downton Abbey theme (!), etc. etc.)

No annoying interviewer, and all in 10-15 minute bites.

ooh nice find Adam! Just listened to the episode with Merrill Garbus from Tuneyards. Great to get a little peek into the minds of some of these artists. Will definitely be keeping an eye on this project :)

That's a great one - she sounds kind of nuts, but at the same time so creative. Just listened to the Game of Thrones one - also inspiring....
