So at about 1:10 I change chord progression and a whole new melody comes (and lasts until the end). My problem is that after that, I want the song to transition back to the melody that's in the beginning, and I can't figure out how to do that. You'll have to hear it to understand what I mean.
Any other advice would also be appreciated, too.
This is the song structure so far (but I'm fine with altering it):
1 bar intro,
4 bar melody,
1 bar break,
same 4 bar melody,
1 bar break (new chord progression)
different 4-bar melody (still the new chord progression)

Unless I'm mistaken, the last chord is the same as the first chord, so why not just begin the first section again straight off the back of the second section. Or am I missing something?

I've tried that, but for some reason it sounded really bad. Maybe I should have some sort of bridge there at the end, and then repeat to the beginning? And when I repeat, do you think it should include that second part like the first time? I'm just bad at structuring songs, I guess.

Ok, I ended up finishing the song. Not perfect... but it's good enough. Any Idea on what to call it?

May as well call it finished if that's what it is. ;D

Soundcloud would not allow me access to listen. Sometimes if you don't set it to "public" only those with Soundcloud accounts can listen.
