Title: Ciggy break
Post by: jmacdon on August 30, 2014, 11:16:58 PM
I actually wrote this song (on my iPad) when I joined my colleague for a ciggy, at work.

We were in a weird caged-in conservatory (but with no glass) - and I just thought of being stuck here with nothing but a piano - and this song emerged.  Enjoy.

To my ears, it was beautiful.  My mind would never have gone to "a peaceful cigarette break" while listening.  I "heard" a little more drama than that, but that's just what it evokes in my mind.

This would be difficult to shoehorn a lyric onto.... but I think it could be done and might be good.  Some things that are "take a lyric with difficulty" work really well when you finally find it.

If you ever want a lyric for an instrumental, let me know.
