This isn't even a work in progress. It's a 4am idea.
I want to write a song about a love between two chickens...
WAIT! Seriously, hear me out.
One is free range, and one is a battery hen.
But when the battery hen confesses to being institutionalised, and too scared of the risks and uncertainties of life outside the cage, the free range hen has to decide that his love for his own freedom is stronger than his love for his caged companion and abandons her to a life of solitude.
Nobody's done this before, have they?
And (if not) is that because it's a fundamentally terrible idea?

A tragic love story, political satire or comedy? - the coop is wide open.
I bet Randy Newman would make it work, so go for it.
BTW you might be better putting it in lyrics or WIP..?

What an awesome idea mate keep me posted thats the beauty of songwriting there should be no limits on what you want to write. Im eggspecting a good song from you :)

i am pretty sure this has not been done yet...
but if these are both chicken that are used for producing eggs, that would mean it is also a song about gay and lesbian rights, another layer in the song, right?
