My name is Steve, I write all sorts of music and have done for quite a few years now, but of late I've been writing songs more than instrumental music. My songwriting heroes are musicians like Macca, Elton John, Paul Simon, Becker/Fagan, Kate Bush, John Philips, Roland Orzabal and Burt Bacharach - anyone who can write a tune, basically.
You can find three of my 'sixties homage pieces on YouTube. Let me know what you think.
Grandma's Zoo
Life During Summertime (a tribute to our wonderful British weather)
Limothy's Tears (a kind of anti-drugs song, but deeply ironic...)
I'm currently working with a fabulous singer Beck Sian on an album "Stations Of The Sun" which is very nearly complete.
Cheers everyone,
Steve
