Hello everyone,

I don't know anyone here, but I'm looking for a community of fellow songwriters... and you all seem to fit the bill. :)

I'm a student and I've been writing lyrics since I was probably around ten years of age.  Needless to say, I'm still at it.  I have a smattering of piano, guitar, and recorder (a medieval flute) skills.  I write some purely instrumental piano pieces, but mostly songs with lyrics on guitar and/or piano.

I honestly don't know if I'm very good at songwriting or not, since most of the people I know aren't really interested in songwriting and so don't give much or any feedback.

I also don't know what style you would call my music... I enjoy the sounds of pop and country, but I don't know how or if that influences my music.  I just get an idea and go with it... Maybe you're in the same boat...

Anyway, I look forward to my time here!
