Hi everyone, my name is Melina and I am 15 years young. I like writing songs and singing, and I also have a basic knowledge of playing the guitar (in other words, I am completely useless haha)
I wrote my first song two years ago, I think. Eventhough I haven't written many finished songs since then, there is always a line or a verse spinning in my head. I have a notebook in which I write down random inspirations and a notebook in which I turn these inspirations in full songs. Writing songs is a way for me to express myself, my lyrics reflect my thoughts and/or state of mind.
I am completely aware of the fact that I still have a lot to learn, but I hope that if I start hanging around here I can improve, even just a little bit :) Thanks for reading, hope you all have a good day!

Hi Melina

Welcome to the forum!  It's great to start young, so you're already way ahead of lots of us! But yes, I hope hanging around here helps you hone your songwriting skills, and makes you some new friends too.
