Title: Back Against the Wall

I have a rough song idea and wanted to get your honest opinion. I uploaded a demo tracxk to YouTube, and I'd really appreciate it if you could give them a quick listen. I just want to know if there's something worth building on.

I listened to both videos and I noticed two things regarding performance...you are good with pitch and you seem to be holding back, almost like you're worried about being heard.

Also, regarding structure...the melody is very repetitive--the same few notes over and over. It needs development. Since you referred to this as a "rough song idea", I'll assume you're planning to do more developing of the structure. I do think it is worth it.

And, finally, I'm still waiting to see evidence that you are listening to the work of others on this forum and providing them with feedback. If you watch trends, you'll notice that the people who get the most feedback are those who also provide feedback. I know it can be intimidating; that was me, once upon a time. All you need to do is mention something you like about the song or the lyrics, and/or something you think might need work. The more you do it, the easier it gets--just like songwriting!
