Hey
I was wondering if anyone uses much hardware effects (eq, compression, reverb, whatever) and how you go about interfacing it with your DAW's? Do you have a specific bus setup in each session (and converter output) that is dedicated to each effect, or are you always changing it round etc?
The same for inputs/preamps. Do you have a specific input permanently dedicated to each preamp?
I'm trying to find the most minimum-fuss way of being able to use my stuff without having to constantly change things around...hmmm..
The long term solution is a mixing desk with great routing but it will be at least a year before we are finished with that...
