When Peter Followed (Healing To These Scars)
Such a modern world, adrift upon the sea.
Calm the water ’til it’s calm for me.
My tears have fallen upon this earth.
I’ve questioned everything for what it’s worth.
When Peter followed your wisdom.
His net was cast far and wide.
He must have known you’d be with him.
Staying there at his side.
I leave the door ajar.
I welcome you to enter.
Give healing to these scars.
Such a modern world, no different to the past,
a world of plenty, selling sadness unsurpassed.

Nice guitar. Could put me in a pleasant meditative condition. I especially like the lines "I welcome you to enter. | Give healing to these scars." Nice work, Paul.
In my headphones, the vocal has a lot of, I'm not sure what it's called, sibilance? The esses kind of whistle. Might be my headphones. I don't have speakers hooked up to compare.

Lovely guitar and a really delicate vocal. It's hard to offer constructive crits for something like this because it's all there. The sound quality is great, not too digital which is important for something like this. You may laugh, but this track reminds me of the intro to a great Wishbone Ash song from way back called 'Time Was'. It's the guitar picking which is similar. Love it :)

I wanted to give this a brief outing on the works in progress page before taking it down from my soundcloud page. Hopefully, I'll find the enthusiasm to revisit this one day and a fully produced version mighht appear.
