can't find how to edit the thumbnail. :-\
come the morning
fall asleep s'deeply,
hit the bottom of a hole
come the morning it will be alright
fingers all in knots,
a poet drinks, his parrot talks
come the morning it'll be alright
surrender the day
release the night
'world is getting smaller,
th' closer I look
plenty I don't understand
there isn't much below me
as the night lights up
with th' stars from
th' back of yo' hand
y' say I'm lost, that
I don't give a damn
when I say giving is all I am
and so amidst my youthful search,
for the absolutes, I saw
I saw the motley fool's-cap rise
far from th' hailing distance of
heated disputes I
feel inclined to live my life
and without excuse,
I don't compromise
come the morning it'll be alright
surrender the day
and release the night
