Welcome along...lots of lovely folks around here...feel free to dive in.

I haven’t been to Blackpool for about 30 years...last time I was there, the tide seemed to go out for miles...I was on a bus trip and lost everyone (or they successfully gave me the slip) and spent the longest day of my life wandering around on a very chilly Sunday when almost everywhere was closed. I was so bored, I went to have my palm read...but, somewhat bizarrely, the fortune teller said that she couldn’t see anything and asked me to leave...and gave me my money back. Bit weird.

Anyway...hello  :)

Welcome, Blackpool...I was always put off going there when I was a kid because I thought the sea was black ...
