Title: Scaping from horizons full of mistakes - May be a tale may be not
Post by: moraamarolaloba on January 18, 2020, 11:48:27 AM
It's been a long time since I showed up here, I'm sorry, Christmas always leaves you without strength just to do the most usual ...
I think this time I got a good balance in the mix, at least I hope so ...

I am a boat
that has to scape
from horizons
full of mistakes
from horizons
full of mistakes

I am a paper
I am a pencil
I am the voidddddd

I am the feeler
filling my ink
I am the feeler
filling my ink

I am a boat
looking for seas
that cut the distance
from unnamed stars x2

I am
my time
I am
a moment
for Universe x2

But then
what will I be
where will they go
my dreams
my words
my thoughts,
my essence x2

I am a boat
that has to scape
from horizons
full of mistakes
from horizons
full of mistakes

I am a paper
I am a pencil
I am the voidddddd

I am the feeler
filling my ink

Polished production. I can't understand a lot of the words, so I can't offer a critique of the song itself, really; it would help if the lyrics were included in the post. Interesting video treatment. I hope to figure out how to do cool videos like that some day.

Oops !! I'm sorry, I have not realized that I had not put the lyric
Now it's ok.
Apart from this, thank you very much for your visit.
Just like I enjoy making songs I also enjoy making videos. All are challenges.

As usual @moraamarolaloba (http://www.songwriterforum.co.uk/index.php?action=profile;u=21233) an absolutely fascinating listen. Very creative and inventive with the use of some unusual sounds and instruments. I thought that it was a fascinating listen and your voice reminded me of Marianne Faithful which is a very good thing in my opinion. Just watched the video as well. Very professionally produced. I wouldn't know where to start on that side of things. Very well done  :)

@moraamarolaloba (http://www.songwriterforum.co.uk/index.php?action=profile;u=21233) - Fantastic song, one of the best I've heard for a long time, pristine production, love the Vocoder, the BVox, everything, cannot offer anything except maybe copy the gtr fuzz track and place each one slightly off centre, might just give a little bit o space to the LVox.

Brilliant song, please put it on SC so I can like it.... 8) and put it on my playlist

Great funkiness here in the percussion and bass particularly. The electronic sounds really add another dimension too. Really well put together. It seemed to fade away very quickly so perhaps a different ending could also work, but a very nice track indeed.

This was indeed, very fascinating to listen to and watch :o Amazing job on both the video and the production of the audio. The auto-tune on the vocals works very well with the unusual instrumentation in the backing track. The lyrics are somewhat whimsical, but also compellingly deep  8)
I've tried my hand at making a couple of videos in imovie, so I know how times-staking it can be, but I can't imagine how to go about making something like this :o Excellent job on all fronts Mora  :)

Hola @adamfarr (http://www.songwriterforum.co.uk/index.php?action=profile;u=20124)

Thank you very much, yes, you are right, the fade out is not good!!!

Hi @crystalsuzy (http://www.songwriterforum.co.uk/index.php?action=profile;u=18947)

Thank you!!! Yes, a lot of work but, you know, when you enjoy what you do it is not a mechanical work, it's challenge!!!

Lovely song... great mellow, dancey vibe and very intriguing lyrics.  I love the lines about the paper and pencil and... the void!  Super.  The only thing I don't like is the vocoder... you have a great charismatic voice in its natural state, why spoil it with a vocoder?  Besides that I really enjoyed this.

Hi, really enjoyed this, as a rule I don't like the over produced vocal sound, but in this case it grew on me as the track went on.Loved the instrumentation too. It had a 2am feel about it when you've had a glass or two of red wine  and chilling out.
Nice work

Cheers

Hi @Jamie (http://www.songwriterforum.co.uk/index.php?action=profile;u=19125)
Thanks for stopping by in my post.
When I listen to my songs I realize that they are usually very relaxing ... This is very curious given how nervous I am.

Hi @moraamarolaloba (http://www.songwriterforum.co.uk/index.php?action=profile;u=21233) , great video, really interesting. I like all the interesting electronic sounds and surprising riffs you put together on which to layer your poem to music. Good idea, 'the boat'. Enjoyable listen. thanks.

Muchas gracias, you are very kind, me too I enjoy mixing atmospheres ambients music voice stories images...

Good luck with your book. It seems very interesting, the end of everyone  is the framework that surrounds him/her from its beginning.
