Welcome, Welcome and indeed Welcome to the SWF November Song of the Month Competition...
For those newbies (and a big warm welcome to you) , I'll just explain a bit, they way it works is one of the members picks a bunch of songs (it saves you going through all the songs that were released in November, listening to each one etc. etc...) that they like and you have to vote for them, each host can decide the marking scheme, it's a bit of fun and there's a whole shed load of peer qudos for those that are nominated, as for the Winner, well St Pete has his priority checkin ready...
This is my first time of being the host, so here goes. First thanks to everyone that posted a song in November, and also to those who took the time to review them.
As past hosts always say, it is difficult to choose, but I was looking for brilliant song writing, and passion in it's delivery not necessarily how polished it was recorded or produced.
Please PM me, Cowparlseyman, with your TOP 3 from the list by 15th December.
3 points goes to the 1st place, 2 points to 2nd and 1 point to 3rd, and let you know the results for 1st 2nd and 3rd based on points scored, soon after.
If you have been nominated you have to vote to stand a chance of winning.
I loved all of these songs for different reasons, all had a sprinkle of magic, that made me want to hit that play button again, right away...

Thanks to Rich for running the competition and nominating my song, and everyone who voted. Thanks to all the good people who keep posting and giving feedback to this site, it keeps it vibrant. It's been a while since I last won SOTM, so this is nice to receive! It's great to be part of the cadre of very talented songwriters and performers who inhabit this site!

Congrats to Jamie for a well deserved gold medal :)
Thanks to Rich for hosting too.
No thanks to me though - somehow I lost track of time and didn't even vote. :( :(
Maybe we should forego the Dec contest - what with the Festive competition going on? IDK
