Title: Anyone Heard of Soundblock?
Post by: CaliaMoko on September 09, 2019, 09:34:26 PM
Someone sent me this link: https://soundblock.com/. Anyone know anything about this? I looked at the website. Right off, I can see I would want a net monthly music income higher than their monthly fees. And it looks like what they do is similar to CD Baby, so why would anyone want to pay monthly fees? I'm wondering if I'm missing something.

Or songtradr?

Or imusiciandigital.com? This one looks very similar to CD Baby, but they don't charge extra for bar codes. If I'm reading it right. I'm tempted to give it a try, but I'd like to know more about them, if anyone has any experience with them. I suppose there's gazillions of distributors like this out there....

I think songtrader is different I that it claims to try and place you taking a % cut.
I think cdbaby is a digital distributor to get you up there with Spotify etc. I could well be mistaken, not my specialist subject.
