Facebook Sold My Information!
Facebook sold my information to a Russian Oligarch
Now he's trackin' my location, maxin' out my credit cards
They launched a big investigation but they kept me in the dark
When Facebook sold my information to a Russian Oligarch
Facebook sold my information - now I got no privacy
People get notifications when I cough or when I sneeze
Don't know why in God's creation anyone would spy on me
But Facebook sold my information and I got no privacy
And every day I make another friend
He knows everything about me
But I've never heard of him..
Facebook sold my information and I'll never get it back
Mark Zuckerburg - he claimed it was a Russian troll attack
And when he heard that I complained he said my settings were too slack
But Facebook sold my information and I'll never get it back
Yeah every day I make another friend
They know everything about me
But I've never heard of them..
Facebook sold my information to a Russian Oligarch
He's still trackin' my location, maxin' out my credit cards
I guess closing my account will make things work out for the best
So I'm about to click my mouse, but wait.!! ...
Another friend request!
Facebook sold my information {...guess I'll accept it..}
Facebook sold my information (...seems like a nice guy..}
Facebook sold my information (...maybe I'll cancel tomorrow ..}

I absolutely love this. Wonderfully topical and relevant while remaining witty and interesting. Flows well and sings easily. This might be my all time favorite lyric from anybody here.

Yes, this is just perfect. What a world it has become.... You always have such a clever way of putting your lyrics together, the rhymes inside the rhymes, and all that. I love it.

Very topical and beautifully observed. You get to the heart of people's obsession with that platform - and despite all their data sins folk keep on using it no matter what. Great stuff!
Hopefully it will be something we can all listen too soon.

Damn that's some good lyrics. :D
Funny, irreverent, poignant. Wonderful.

Verlon, Vicky, Michael and Sterix - thanks guys for the warm reception to this one.
I'm practicing singing it on my daily commutes and hope to record it soon.
Mercifully I drive alone so no-one hears my flubs ;D

Cool, classy work Paul. How’s about a modern pop tune to go with it??
:-)
