Hi all..a song about an extra marital affair...
https://soundcloud.com/knmac/make-a-rendezvous-by-knmac
If you know whats good for you,
you will make a rendezvous,
midnight by a blazing fire,
balancing on loves high wire,
I know it's not the easy way,
I always find it hard to wait,
don't take for a fool,
you've got to break the rules,
make a rendezvous x3
make a rendezvous x3
cannot live without your love,
a love that soars so high above,
laying low and riding high,
on the street you walk on by,
our loving is a secret thing,
a secret that means everything,
make a rendezvous x3
make a rendezvous x3
you know I see you every day,
you've got to turn and walk away,
if they only knew of the night we met,
when we made a love that we can't forget,
make a rendezvous x3
make a rendezvous x3

As usual exceptionally well produced an performed. I've always enjoyed your tunes, but I think I prefer your more cinematic electronic prog sounding songs of previous years. I think its the drum loop on this on this one that I cant get on with. Cant put my finger on it though!

Yo Kev.
This is a lovely, airy and light pop song.
I dig the melody, the vocals and the punchy production.
Instantly accessible. 8)

This had some real sing-along effect :) Very well produced, and you sing it well, and the lyrics are outstanding.
Well performed Kevin! :)

Light and catchy with an earworm chorus. I know it's finished, but my thoughts aremaybe there should be some kind of justification for their actions, something like "She never understood" would fit in the chorus, and might make them a little more sympathetic. Or you could blow them up at the end, to show what happened after "if they only knew..." Haha. That might be cool.
But I'm as impressed as usual. Carry on.

Hi Kev, rock solid piece of feel-good synth pop here, in the vein of Erasure or OMD. I really liked the bvs (who’s dat?). Production is of course faultless. If I could suggest one thing it would be for the chorus to find its way to a different root note to the verses, just so you’ve got a bit more melodic variation going on... try the ‘up 2 semitones’ trick? Other than that minor nit I thought it was a spangly pop gem.

Catchy and energetic song, punchy drum loop is perfect for me. Lyrics are great, but my ears care only for "make a rendezvous" :) Vocals sound fresh and a bit uncertain (which is perfect for this song). Excellent work :)

Hi Kevin
Great pop song - catchy hook and you milk it just right :)
You're a pro at breakdowns and this one is a good example of the art.
Love the repetition at the end. Now I've got this earworm that will be hard to extract - thanks for that!
No nits this side o' the ocean. ;D

I love that this is a bit different from you mate. I too wasn't crazy about the beat BUT that's just me. I did love the hook though and the lyrics are fab!😁🎶👊🏻🎶

Has an 80s pop feel about it - can’t fault it - voice is good and clear
A happy song - very danceable x

I would have liked the chorus to have done a little bit more, but I really liked what you did with the guitars and of course (as others mentioned) the production is great.
-
Likeable 80's vocals, I agree with Bankie, the chorus could be something more and is a missed opportunity. It's a bit samey and the song would be improved with a proper chorus, saying that it's catchy as hell so what do I know? lol good work pal

Gtta thank everyone for listening and commenting, always appreciated..thank you,

Hi Kevin,
Must admit it's a bit too light and pop for me.
Can't argue with the production values though.
Liked the guitar tone - almost Brian May-esque at times.
Cool effect on the vocals late in the song - some kind of morphoder?
Just sounds so cheery though. :D
