So much for for lazy weekend...

;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D
To be fair, I only got through 15 minutes of the first game before being knocked out. I lost my memory for 30 minutes after that, so...pretty lazy 8)

Played once for the school...i think we were 16.
I made the mistake of taking the piss out of the biggest hardest looking bastard on the opposing team with an exquisite body swerve to dummy him...so he responded by spinning round and throwing an arm out to clothes-line me running at full tilt. Properly lamped me...i couldn't breathe for what seemed like an eternity...and when I was pronounced alive...the referee considered it so serious, he abandoned the match. I haven't seen my adams apple since...it's still buried in my throat somewhere.
Happy days...

I've a fondness for contact sports.
I was a good boxer in my teenage years.
I was forgetting this side of it, replacing it with nostalgic sentiment.
Please try not to let your passions kill you. Get well.

I played left guard for the Patriots for a season...we used to have loads of rugby players come to our training sessions to toughen up.... 8) and it was very demanding...
It was always the soccer guys that would need ambulances..
Needless to say we lost every game....
So much for tough training...the trick is to avoid them not smash into them, nearly broke me neck hitting a linebacker
