Stuck
Stuck in a world
where you’re living a lie
part wants to live
and part wants to die
tears fill your day
and the weather don’t change
everyone thinks that you’re a bit strange
stuck in a world
where the wheat fields hide glass
a world where you live
afraid of the past
you want to be free
tell the world who you are
but the bravery you have
Only reaches so far
All the dreams that have
run away like streams to the sea
I just want the world
to see that it’s me
Stuck in a world
where you’re living a lie
part wants to live
and part wants to die

Very authentic and touching. Lyrics like these are always relatable to so many people but also very therapeutic at the same time :)

"Authentic" is a good word to describe this. Felt very genuine. All emotion and simple expression of that emotion. This is crying out for a tune. Perfectly written to be a song.

This is the second set of lyrics I've read today which work for me.
I like all of it, especially the three line verse.
Thanks for sharing.

If anyone wants to add a tune that would be great xxx

Hi Katie
sorry to bother you but did someone ever get back to you on a melody for these lyrics? I only ask because I don't want to tread on toes and I might be able to help. Thank You Tony (A new member)
