Mine is never, ever to listen to Madness again.  8)

Hi @mickyplankton (http://www.songwriterforum.co.uk/index.php?action=profile;u=20769) - happy new year Man.. my number one resolution is to buy all Madnesses songs....

Musically i want to make my production as good as it can be, at the moment i know it could be better.

My other resolutions are to play more classical guitar and drums

Maintain a methodical approach to learning each new plugin/vst

Rich

My friend got me into this new years resolution where you listen to a different album every day of the year. Apparently, it's a cool way to get some width to your musical knowledge and sensibilities.

I haven't actually made any official resolutions, but I hope to learn a bit about mixing and producing

I'm hoping to dip my toe into prog-rock if I can coax a guitar player I know out of retirement  ;D
Also improve my drum tracks..

Now that’s my sweet spot - not enough people on this forum appreciate 20 minute epics! Wish I could aspire to multiple time signature changes but I know it will always be beyond me!

To write with the  flair that I had as a younger man. To make more up-tempo music that embraces my earlier influences, including my love of films. Generally to write about my experiences but to include references to significant events that appeared in the media.

That's what I'd like to do
