Hi everyone,
This is the third song that Jambrains & I have worked on together as part of our sexy Sky lanterns project. (We leave the “sexy” off of course as our humility knows no bounds!! ;D plus, it should just be a given....right?? ....no? ...sigh, anyway... ;D)
Any feedback would be awesome and we’d be grateful for. Thanks guys!

I really liked this. There was a band I listened to a LOT back in the day called Del Amitri ? this reminds me of them, great voice, great production and (as someone who has never managed to write one) nice to hear an uplifting / positive song for a change

I had to listen to this...I didn't notice you had a "Sky Lanterns" project going on. Now I have to find the first two songs and listen to them, too. Caught my eye because of the title. At first I thought someone had found my song from, oh, months ago, maybe a year or so, called "Sky Lanterns". But turns out this one is much better! :D So I definitely have to find the other two.

This is just lovely... As usual the vocals are fantastic and well needless to say the production is slick, polished and spot on! Great track guys!!

Have to say I like this very much, the voice is perfect for song and the lyrics are great if I sit around and nitpick too much I will have to to catch a star

Hi Guys,
This is a very classy song. The standard on here is ridiculous....this could be off a pro signed band's album. Vocals are superb and the rest of the song is of a crazy good standard. I liked the piano part particularly and the change at 2.40 was perfectly judged. What a wonderful piece of writing and production. Has to be a contender for SOTM.

We are having a great time writing together as we both love doing the parts that the other one hates! I hate doing the music and mix and Jam would rather not write or sing (even though he’s a bloody good writer aswell!) Cheers again mate. ;D

That's a really great song and superb production - very high quality - great piano, brilliant vocals.
At the end of the chorus, I did find the note you use behind the lyric "the ride" it a little surprising (the fifth not the root, I think?) but maybe I'm too predictable in my writing. :)
Wish my demos sound 10% as good!

This is calling out for a video. Actually, I could see this being the end song in a film, playing as the credits roll. Sounds totally professional on all levels.
