There we have it people. Thank you to everyone who cast a vote. It was another close race, but the winner is...
AI Bunny Boiler by MichaelA
Congratulations @MichaelA (http://www.songwriterforum.co.uk/index.php?action=profile;u=21274) and well done to all the runners up. Lots of great songs there.
Come on everyone and heap your praise on Michael.

Well that is very nice news! Who says subtlety is everything, ha?!
Thanks to those who voted for the song, and to the other entrants too for some top tunes there!
I really can't think how to spend my £1 million prize money yet, but I will send you all a postcard from somewhere. Thanks finally to @Jack Simmons (http://www.songwriterforum.co.uk/index.php?action=profile;u=18691) for running this! Good job! ;)

My cunning plan is...whoever offers themselves up!

Congratulations Michael. A worthy winner. I take it that you will be taking up the offer of next (last) months host. With regards to the prize money, don't go too mad at the moment. I can sell you my tips on how I made $1.59 on social media in only 6 months. It won't cost you too much, honest ;D

Thanks for coming in to comment, @Neil C (http://www.songwriterforum.co.uk/index.php?action=profile;u=18856) , @Skub (http://www.songwriterforum.co.uk/index.php?action=profile;u=20061) (and Mrs Skub!) and @pompeyjazz (http://www.songwriterforum.co.uk/index.php?action=profile;u=20269) (showing off with your $1.59!)
So is it tradition that I would run the next month comp @pompeyjazz (http://www.songwriterforum.co.uk/index.php?action=profile;u=20269)? I don't mind doing that, although I have no idea how to set up the Voting Table - maybe someone could PM me?!
But if someone else is set to do it, that's fine by me too.

You had my number one vote for a few reasons, but the primary reason was content. I get to hear hundreds of versions of the same theme, but very few new themes. Especially something as topical as this.
It is thoughtful and very much of its time.
Well done.

It's not so much tradition as a rule forged from fire and writ in stone and blood.
So if you'd like to, that'd be cool.

Correct Jack. Also you can play hero or villain, accept bribes / make or break someone's musical career. It's a tough gig Michael. And as for the awards ceremony. ......

Thanks @Jack Simmons (http://www.songwriterforum.co.uk/index.php?action=profile;u=18691) and @pompeyjazz (http://www.songwriterforum.co.uk/index.php?action=profile;u=20269). I feel if I don't take up this challenge I will be struck down by the curse of the mean God of the Songwriting Forum. So I will do it then, so my children and wife can sleep safely!
I will have the new month's nominations up for voting on Monday night. Five will be chosen. Qatar will be one, as they were the first to get their bribe in...Oh, and we might have an ex mistress of Donald Trump in the running too, paid for by Donald.
But come Monday, of course it will be a clean list! ;D

Well done Michael - a great song and worthy winner - CONGRATS! ;D ;D

So yes Michael, this month's competition for July's SOTM is yours if you would like it. The poll thing is really as easy as 123.
If not, Montydog has also offered
