Here's a brand new song I am putting in my 'songs for fun' file. It's an imaginary tale about AI - and was partly inspired by watching film & TV like 'Humans' (UK TV), Bladerunner (remake) and 'Her', that Scarlett Johansson movie, where the guy falls in love with his 'operating system'. If you have as much tech trouble with your devices/software as me, you will get where I am coming from with this one. Enjoy!

Lyrics:
AI Bunny Boiler
Course I only signed up
Cos the trial was free
She was still in beta
Stupid me
Cannot now delete her
Ai curse
My operating system
Is hers
I’ll never be alone
My life is not my own
Her voice is in my home
My laptop and my phone
Complained to the vendors
They did Jack
Re-installed my hard drive
She came back
Ai bunny boiler
Virtually
Seems her one obsession
Is me

Top quality stuff Michael. Made me laugh big time but it retains your great sense of melody. Reminded me of something that Gorillaz might do. Loved it :)

Yo Michael.
Fackin' brilliant,man! :D
It's like Mrs.Skub in AI form. ;D
A totally entertaining and cleverly thought out song.

What a great song. The duet had me laughing out loud.
Its very insistent and you just want to hear more of their relationship.
A touch of David Byrne in there somewhere.
:) :) :)

Thanks @Skub (http://www.songwriterforum.co.uk/index.php?action=profile;u=20061) , as mentioned on Soundcloud, I did actually borrow your wife for the voice. And all the male vices in the song, well she says are yours! ;)
@pompeyjazz (http://www.songwriterforum.co.uk/index.php?action=profile;u=20269) yeah, I liked The Gorillaz, so will take that, cheers!
Cheers too @Neil C (http://www.songwriterforum.co.uk/index.php?action=profile;u=18856) , I love that it made you laugh out loud. I also love David Byrne, so pretty happy with that feedback! Thanks! :D

I love the films you mentioned, and i can hear the inspirations coming through especially her. I love the robot voice ahaha works so well. the production is top quality and the vocal preformance is great. The synth sounds are really well designed and with the setting i dont think they could work any better. great work mate!

Hi Micheal
This is a great concept, well thought out too.
Made me chuckle as its what we think we all would like but in reality it wouldn't be so great.
Reminds me of all those google tech progs and the TV thing about humans drones.
Great work, very creative dude.

OK, final thanks to all for these positive comments - just a fun song for me which I enjoyed doing very much.
So cheers @Jack_Diamond. (http://www.songwriterforum.co.uk/index.php?action=profile;u=22077) , @Cawproductions (http://www.songwriterforum.co.uk/index.php?action=profile;u=20938) , @Paulski (http://www.songwriterforum.co.uk/index.php?action=profile;u=19241) and @Rightly (http://www.songwriterforum.co.uk/index.php?action=profile;u=20219) - all appreciated. FYI Rightly, the term 'bunny boiler' originates as follows: Inspired by a scene in the 1987 film Fatal Attraction where a scorned woman (played by Glenn Close), seeking revenge on her ex-lover (played by Michael Douglas), places his beloved family pet in a pot of boiling water when he is away from the house. (Wikipedia) :D

Very funny. Haha. Wow, she's mean. I'd sleep with one eye open if I were you. Like your singing a lot. It conjures Munch's the Scream.

Love this! very clever and original
What a pleasant surprise to listen to. Unique all around and a great melody, too!
