Title: Drum Challenge Spring 2018 RESULTS
Post by: PaulAds on June 09, 2018, 05:10:02 PM: Results are in for the Spring 2018 Drum Challenge...

1) Nooms @nooms (http://www.songwriterforum.co.uk/index.php?action=profile;u=11264) "Words Fail Me" with 15 points
2) TBoswell @tboswell (http://www.songwriterforum.co.uk/index.php?action=profile;u=20223) "The Good Fight" and Ramshackles @Ramshackles (http://www.songwriterforum.co.uk/index.php?action=profile;u=6887) "Skin" were TIED for second place on 14 points each

Well done and congratulations to everyone who entered, voted, commented or listened to any of the songs. There was a great spread of votes and everyone "troubled the scorers" as BBC cricket commentators of yesteryear were fond of saying.

It was a pleasure for John and I to hear all the entries...thanks for taking part and making it such a success!

been a great comp.. all the songs were up there and all a different slant..
a brilliant idea of @PaulAds (http://www.songwriterforum.co.uk/index.php?action=profile;u=20253) ads and @pompeyjazz (http://www.songwriterforum.co.uk/index.php?action=profile;u=20269)
they deserves a nighthood or at least a cap and a speckled hen..
was wondering earlier what topper himself would think of them

The concept was so interesting,because of all the fascinatingly diverse ways the original drum track was interpreted. It was really weird to hear a drum track I used in a totally different song,almost surreal!

Grats to the worthy winners and for all who took part,I thoroughly enjoyed the process and listening to all the wildly varying results.

Big up to Paul and John for the cat herding duties. :)
