This one came up in my Soundcloud today - top quality track and a deserved winner! Congrats all round.

WOW ;D ;D . I demand a re-count. I never win anything ;D
NO....that's not true. I've won this once before, with a song I did
with Paulski, and it was very similar to this. Groovy/jazzy/saxy ;D
That must be the winning formulae then ;D ;D
There were some amazing songs to choose from, which makes it even
more of a shock. Of course, the real winner is the Forum. Barriers was
conceived, written and produced with people from this forum. This place
enables us all to achieve this sort of thing. I've always maintained that the
real 'treasure' of this place is the ability it offers to network, and work with
folk who live all over the world. And with technology being what it is, we can
produce something like Barriers in a couple of weeks. Without even having to
meet anyone......A M A Z I N G ;D ;D . Wasn't too long ago that I was using
a Reel to Reel recorder, and something like this would have taken months to
produce, and cost a fortune. So, get stuck in guys....it's fun ;D ;D . After all,
most here have spent years practicing and developing their art.......time to enjoy,
is what I say ;D ;D ;D
Anyway, BIG big thanks to all for your kind words an encouragement. I'm so glad
that you all seem to like it so much, because we've got another one just round the
corner ;D ;D . And this one is SPECIAL......you'll see ;D ;D
You all have excellent taste in music......and I love you all xx ;D
THANKS

Congrats to Bin & Caz. Great collaboration!

I'm totally echoing what Binny has said. Without this wonderful forum I wouldn't have found out what equipment I needed to buy, what mic to get, how to bodge a DIY vocal booth, what an audio interface is, let alone what to do with any of it, or what prosody was. Nor would I have networked with you lovely people and had the chance to have a crack at putting vocals to such wonderful pieces of music. Plus I know that my songwriting skills have come on leaps and bounds since joining you guys. The wealth of knowledge on here and the helpfulness of members is just brilliant.
It really is a pleasure to have joined this forum and to have had the opportunity to communicate with such creative folks. I just wish that i could be on here more often, what with the ankle biters etc. But every time I come on here I learn something totally new and hear something great.
Well done forum! And thank you so much to the wonderful Binladeda, the musical mastery of Boydie, everyone who listened and reviewed, and to all the folks who voted for us.
Well done to all this month's nominees also. Some amazing songs for us to listen to, learn from and of course enjoy :)
Viva la forum :)))))

Congratulations Bin and Caz, and Boydie: one of the best tracks I've heard, beautiful in every way, playing, Vocal delivery and production.
I'ts the closest thing to Cadbury's dairy milk straight from the fridge.
Thank you for treating my ears.
Has anyone approach you about releasing this commercially? You might be surprised...
