Title: SONAR is back from the dead!!!

Cakewalk Sonar has been purchased by BandLab for future development and it looks like existing users will get a FREE cross grade

They are working through legal and transition issues but it is coming back...

I know a few of us used it ( @Bill Saunders (http://www.songwriterforum.co.uk/index.php?action=profile;u=18525) @Neil C (http://www.songwriterforum.co.uk/index.php?action=profile;u=18856) ) and even though we may have moved to different DAWs this is still great news for our older projects and having another option

Yes it's good to see this news. A few of us have moved on, but it is always worth speaking more than one language, and having a working version of a DAW I spent 10 years using is potentially very useful.

Plus, the Cakewalk forum is a superb community which goes way beyond Sonar alone.
