Weird thing over the weekend. One of my songs got 90 listens in Japan and South Korea. Should I be packing my Kimono ;D
-
Maybe Kim Jong Un has decided he doesn't like it and the South Koreans are playing it through tannoy systems across the border to annoy him.
I'd be building a bomb shelter, never mind the kimono!

Good taste, those far-eastern types...was it “Nagasaki Day” ::)
I had a similar thing with one of mine, a while back...though with nowhere near as many listens...I thought maybe someone had accidentally hit “repeat” in an unfortunate muscle spasm during a seizure, and then croaked.
On a more serious note, it’s amazing how someone can pick up a song seemingly at random and become instantly quite obsessed with it. It goes to show you are making great music.

Cool Pompey! I struggle to get 90 listens for any of my songs :-).
Seriously, that is good going!

No North Korean listens,Pomps? :D
I dunno how soundcloud works with the listen thing, The most listens I've had with a song is 706 then 537 and 406. Those were posted a year ago, more recent stuff takes a while to mount up. Best most recent is 139 from 2 months ago. I'd love someone to explain how it works.
USA is the top listener, closely followed by the UK,then Oz. No exotic locations for me!

706 listens is an impressive tally, my top one has 397

That's got me thinking in an even more anoracky way as somehow I have listens in (amongst others)over 10 in Taiwan, Philippines, Peru, Iran, Vietnam, Hong Kong, Egypt, Chile, India. Indonesia, Columbia, Saudi Arabia.
You'll have to let me handle your worldwide promotions Davy ;D

Haha some crazy stories on here, I've not had the pleasure exotic SoundCloud listens; gotta tap them markets, land and expand!
Have a pretty bad-taste YouTube story I just remembered though; but it needs a little context to help not shine me in such bad light..
Me and some friends went by the rap group name "Bestiality Boys", a play on Beastie Boys (We knew it was stupid but we weren't serious at all and didn't care).
I was feeling like, super "rappy" one day and noone else was around, so I writ a song where I rap battled my two dogs. Being a reasonably-minded gu this became titled nothing other than "****ing Dogs", as in like, "Oh those damn dogs"...
This video has about 4500 views and is the most viewed video on our channel by about 4500 views, and the analytics on searching leading to that video are disturbing and best.
Despite the marketing opportunity think I'm glad none of those views trickled into our other videos, given the audience.

;D Crazy stuff Scott. Social media stuff is something that is pretty alien to me but it's the way of the future world I guess
