Hi,
It's a long time since I last posted. We've finished up a new tune and added a video to this one.
All and any feedback is as always very much appreciated.

Verse 1:
I'm driving down the highway
a thousand miles to go
My wedding bells gonna ring
in fifteen hours or so
Got my foot on the gas
I'm speeding like a maniac
I feel the engine roaring
as dusk fades to black
Baby, I gotta make it
I gotta make it
Verse 2:
I've been on the road
seven days and seven nights
The trip turned upside down
when they cancelled my flights
Don't know who's winning
in the race against time
Still some hours before
the bells are gonna chime
Baby, I gotta make it
I gotta make it
Verse 3:
I'm driving down the highway
a hundred miles to go
My wedding bells gonna ring
in two hours or so
Got my foot on the gas
I'm speeding like a maniac
I feel the engine roaring
and the sky is turning black
Baby, I gotta make it
I gotta make it
Outro:
I gotta make my way
back home in time
Still some hours before
the bells are gonna chime
Gotta get back to my baby
I gotta make it

Driving rhythm with some nice guitar work..excellent!..not sure about the vocal effect though, sounded a bit like a telephone effect..did you intend that? :) :)

Yo refuse
Man I like this. It's like an energy infused ZZ Top mixed with Canned Heat. 8)
Ya needz some ace Tele pickin in there to really make the thing shine, but it was a great listen as it stands.

Made me move my butt which is not easy in a cubicle :)
I really liked the energy of this song and how well it works with the video!
Is this a studio recording?
-
Whoops, ignore my question in the previous post, I read the credits :)

Hi 2tuoo, skub and shadowfax,
Thank you for listening and the comments.

Nice choogling brother!
I liked it.
If Creedence covered "Ace of Spades" it would sound something like this.
Maybe the drums could be less synthetic and bigger, other than that I thought it was really good. I liked the pauses you introduced a couple of times too. No need for a bit chorus here as the choogling carries you through.

Hi,
Bleedin' hell - that cleaned the cobwebs out! Kind of like a blend of Canned Heat and ZZ Top with Ozzy/Lemmy on lead vocals (on speed). I absolutely loved the instrumental parts including that lovely playing at 1:30. Such a refreshing change to hear something like this. My only gripe (and this is purely a personal taste thing) is the vocals. I think they sound rushed and strained. I know that's what they are supposed to be suggesting but they just don't sit well on my old tin ears. Otherwise, magnificent in it's elemental brilliance.

Love the drive and guitars (and drums!) in this one. Agree with monty, the part from 1.30 and onward is great! Only complaint would be the vocal treatment which was not to my taste, a bit too harsh/distant.
Other than that, top drawer stuff (at least in my drawer :D)
But why did you have to kill the poor guy in the end? ;D

Like the track a lot! Video is really well done. Not sure if it is my speakers (and I'm on a train) but I'd drop some of the higher frequencies on the vox and boost the guitar mid.....Really did enjoy this though......bass on a train....just don't go there......Congrats guys...this will do soooo well on your YT channel.....

Cool track, with a sense or urgency and just a touch of desperation, added to by the video.
Nothing I want to criticise so I'll leave it there.

Hi Refused
Golden Earing's "Radar Love" came to mind - a good thing IMHO.
Only thing I'd change is the mercedes - should have been a grungier car IMO. ;D ;D
Good stuff!

OK man it was fast - maybe too fast for the driver :-\
It got me back in a split second to the good old days.
Super guitar sound and energy
Propose to bring lead guitar more forward in the sound image from 1:28 to 1:40 to boost the lead effect.
Did you make it?
-
Hi,
Hi,
Thanks guys for listening and the comments.
@Krysoe - Did you make it? I didn't but my friend did.
@Paulski - Sorry about the mercedes in the video :D
@Ashes for Dreams - 2But why did you have to kill the poor guy in the end?" Who says that the guy dies? ;D

Good trip, good speed, good energy and rhythm, everything makes me moving. The voice? I think it fits very well with the general sound and style. Broooom! Be well. Mora
-
Got some urgency or a road trip with a slightly deranged feels to it.
All good.
:)

Definitely got me up and moving :o Excellent driving energy, although I was a little disappointed with

Fantastic song, really well recorded. Great sound. The kind of song I would play on a road trip across the states
-
Great sound! Like a juggernaut careering out of control.
Vocals are quite "Lemmy" - a little "hollow" sounding, perhaps...as I think someone mentioned. But I did't think it sounded out of place...perhaps added to the urgency of it all.
Nice work, anyhow...well done!
