Don't know if anybody has been listening to this excellent series on BBC 6 Music but the first 3 instalments are now available as podcasts with the rest to follow shortly

Nice, even available in Spain, which is very nice. I heard something recently along the lines that the thing that pushed Punk into existence was Elton John & Kiki Dee's Don't Go Breaking My Heart, which sounds very plausible to me.

Having listened to the first 3 it's a shame that the musical segments have been cut down to seconds, probably due to copyright  :(

However, the chat is most entertaining and educational, brings it all back  ;D

This slot is on R6 on Tuesday evenings @ 8:30pm, I think they have really reached the end but it's being followed up by the A to Z of psychedelica which should be well worth a listen
