Title: Glad to be here
Post by: Collingtonx on October 18, 2017, 07:27:11 PM
I am a US based Scotsman who has been writing for about 26 years (I didn't realise it had been THAT long until I typed it!). Anyway, it's a hobby, although I did have a couple of video games released with my music/sound in them. I used to gig my songs in Scotland, although not intensively, but loved gigging with a 2 (sometimes 3) piece line up.

I don't get the chance to write as much as I'd like to anymore, due to work/family commitments, but still love the writing process. I am a keyboard/synth player who can carry a tune vocally but I don't have the voice I'd like to have in my songs.

I would love the chance to collaborate and to try different methods and techniques as I am finding the writing process has become very regimented and a little stale and I always really enjoyed hearing different people's additions to what I'd already written.

Having said that, just being part of a forum of like-minded artists/producers again, is good enough.

My main influences in wiring are Depeche Mode and Nine inch Nails.
