Hi beautiful ones, it's Silver Machine.
Peeps I was in the laboratory the other day with my man Stevie Ray Hawking.
Hey Silver Dude, he voiced, Does you think guitars have a place in the cosmology of Dance Music?
Hey good question Stevie! Ok let's find out!!

Lyrics:
In my country we have music for attracting womens, & also music for repelling vermins.
Every year the top songs in each category receive a prestigious award.
Of course there is substantial entry fee for each song.
This year to cut down cost, I prepare a single combined entry for both category.
I love you, beautiful womans
I love you, beautiful womans
I love you, beautiful womans
I love you, beautiful womans
RELEASE THE GIANT CATS!
I love you, beautiful womans
I love you, beautiful womans
I will buy you magnificent mouse traps
I will buy you the finest rat poison
I will be your mouse exterminator!
I will be your superhero mouse exterminator!
RELEASE THE GIANT CATS!
Sexy lady, you can be rodent free.
Make love to me
Sexy lady, you can be rodent free
Come with me.

Did what it said on the tin. Killed all rodents and sexy ladies within a 2 km radius of the listening position. Wonderful creative stuff man :)
-
Love the guitars and lyrics. I didn't get the synthesizers until the guitar came in, then it made perfect sense. Great song. Made me laugh.
-
Due to my advanced age, this sounds like it needs to have a strobe light flashing away while it plays. Very creative! No nits from me.
-
You know what, this time I could do without the mental guitars. The combination of cheesey 80s disco synth with lyrics about being "rodent free" is gorgeous and weird enough mate, without the thrash-guitar and alternative-time-signature incoming missiles interrupting the boogie. Can we have a mix without the "Release the Giant Cats" bits? Or give the cats their own separate song?
None the less, another piece of wacko genius.

Hey Silver Machine. You've certainly made a big impression in a short space of time here. i enjoyed your first two "experiments". This one is several orders of magnitude more evolved and demonstrates songwriting craft and musicianship as well as that totally off the wall signature of yours. I'd love to hear this in a nightclub, not that I go clubbing anymore, but I would if you were the DJ.
Great to have such a unique songwriter on the forum. Hope you stick around. Micky.

Mental ;D - But i get the humour and you certainly cannot ignore something like this. Great fun.
-
Another enjoyable visit to the well of ideas that would never occur to me!
I'm probably missing the point, but I did wonder whether it might be more effective to make the two elements merge seamlessly together so that we think we are listening to a love song but actually hearing about vermin. Or the other way round. Or both. Or... (Mind into overdrive)
-
I can hear that you are having great fun. So did I actually. World needs more creative, wacko-positivium great fun. Yup.
-
Duuuuude,
There I am chilling back with a beer listening about sexy ladies then at 39 secs, BOOOM, my face gets ripped off.
I am like WTF....then it drops back.....Love it...No one is doing this
Its experimental but after a few listens...am waiting for it....
Good work chap.

Barry white meets Eurotrash, meets 21st Century Schizoid man.
A montage of mayhem and madness midst the oasis of synth. 8)

Holy shit, Silver Man :o
This is an absolute riot...I really enjoyed it!
With a great groove underneath it and some real fun lyrics too.
A winner!

Hi Silver Machine,
I agree with PaulyX, it would be a much better without the guitar. Other than that it was way too short. I wanted at least 5 minutes, maybe more. Definitely made my morning.
I hope to hear a lot more from you in the future.
Keith

Peeps I thank you all for the luxurious comments.
PaulyX + diademgrove - Guys you cannot have this without the mental guitars. There is no song without the two parts! Hey, anyway too much synth is bad for your virility, while guitar increases your testosterone. You do know that dont you? You guys need to up your daily guitar intake, thats for sure.
MickeyPlankton- I dont appear in nightclubs, but if I did and you went to them again, and I played this song, and you heard it, I would buy you a beer, or drugs if you prefer. Huge compliment , man.
CAW Productions - Yeah the WTF moments are what my songs are all about. Dont ever freebase and listen to my songs, you will incinerate yourself.
-
Hey, anyway too much synth is bad for your virility
Say again!?
;)

Yeah it's a fact, man. Macho Guitar magazine analysed the androgen levels of 100 guitarists and a 100 synth players. Man, there was no contest!
Their recommendation was if you gotta play synth then wear thick rubber gloves.
-
What a face melt!
This is brilliant stuff. Both tracks in their own right are very well produced and could stand alone in their own genre. Mixed together it makes for one out there experience :P
There is something so listenable about this despite it's craziness. Unique and intriguing stuff. Thanks for sharing Silver Machine :)

Definitely makes an impact, holding my attention from beginning to end. Cool track!

Ha ha. Yeah Vince Clarke vs. Thor is not even a battle...

A blo@dy brill, bonkers riot! Hilarious and cool. Smiling like a cheshire cat at a 80s-disco-tech-rock fusion rave up. One to remember! cx
